The Mixed Feelings Exhibition (held from October 22 until the 29th, 2014) promoted dialogue and understanding between Lebanese and Lebanese of mixed marriages (Lebanese Africans, Lebanese Asians, etc.) living in Lebanon. Thanks to the team effort of NDU’s distinguished faculties, offices, centers, and clubs, namely the Faculties of Architecture, Art and Design; Law and Political Science; and Humanities, along with the Public Relations Office, the Students Affairs Office, the Human Rights Club, and the Dialogue Club, all of whom offered valuable discussions and strongly welcomed the exhibition.
This event engaged over 150 students and professors in a dialogue on Racism and “Othering” in Lebanon from a Lebanese Perspective. The speakers included Dr. Elie El-Hindy, Ms. Noor Baalbaki, Ms. Marta Bogdanska, and Dr. Eugene Richard Sensenig.
